This 2 hour adventure to Blue Ridge Environmental Center is a perfect way to have an educational and fun group experience in the great outdoors. Each group will start their trip at our outfitter, where they will meet a professional treasure hike leader, followed by a short 10 minute shuttle to BREC. Once your group has arrived at BREC, they will view a presentation about BREC. Everyone will receive educational literature about the environment, a map, and the rules of the hike. Your young adventurer’s will use teamwork in groups of two and take approximately 45 minutes to explore designated sections of the BREC to search for the items on the map. Your group will meet up after the treasure hike to discuss what they found or learned on their hike. Your treasure hike leader will then determine which team found the most items on the hike and award a prize to that team. In the event of a tie, there will be a question asked about the information the teams learned at BREC. Your trip will conclude with a shuttle back to our outfitter and a smile on each young adventurer’s face.
