Rafting on the North Branch of the Potmac River dam release
BTI Whitewater will be on the North Branch of the Potomac river this Spring and Fall . BTI’s experienced guides will be leading trips from the Jennings Randolph Dam in Barnum, WV to Bloomington, MD. The dam release will raise the water level and provide plenty of whitewater! This trip will keep your heart pounding as you splash your way through class II-III rapids.
The North Branch Dam Release trip with BTI Whitewater will include transportation to and from the area. This feature is unique to BTI, and with gas prices on the rise once again, a welcome accommodation. Also, as a part of the trip each participant will receive a helmet, paddle, personal flotation device, wet suit and splash top, shuttle service to and from start and end points, a well trained guide in every boat and a bag lunch.
All participants will meet at BTI Whitewater and have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Maryland and West Virginia scenery on the ride, rather than being stuck behind the wheel. Call 1-877-RAFT-BTI for details and reservations!
No prior rafting experience is neccessary. All participants must be at least 5 years old or 50 pounds for this trip.

Friday Sunset Rafting Special: Relax and enjoy an early weekend trip in a peaceful setting down the Shenandoah. Trip dates are as follows: June 26, July 24, August 28, and September 25. Trip includes light fare and beverage for $59.95/person. Reservations required.

March Madness: SPRING BREAK 2009! 1/2 Price pre-season whitewater rafting on the Shenandoah for $24.95/person for the month of March, price includes wet suit and splash top rental. Reservations required.
Earth Day April 20-23: In honor of National Environmental Education Week come raft the Shenandoah River for only $34.95 and help our staff clean the river. Certificate for community service can be provided upon request. All participants will be entered into a raffle for a free tubing trip. Reservations required.
Mother’s Day May 10: Come celebrate the day with your mom and she receives a FREE rafting or tubing trip with two other paying guests. Valid only with prior reservations.
Father’s Day June 21: Come celebrate the day with your dad and he receives a FREE rafting or tubing trip with two other paying guests. Valid only with prior reservations.
Riding the Weekday Wave:Make a reservation for any regularly priced rafting trip for 3 people Monday thru Thursday and bring along a 4th person for FREE!
Scout River Clean Up: The 1st Monday of every month until the end of August. 10am river trip. The river section may vary upon its need to be cleaned. Rafts or canoes may be used per our discretion. All river equipment (PFD, Paddle, Boat), heavy duty clean up gloves, trash bags, and Professional river guides will be provided. This 3 hour trip will give your troop the chance to help preserve the environment on the Shenandoah or Potomac Rivers. All scouts will have the opportunity to earn service hours towards a scouting badge while having fun with their troop on the water. Remember…we all live downstream! $25 per person with prior reservations to attend.
