As of July 1, there will be new regulations for all coolers brought to BTI Whitewater.

Coolers brought to BTI must be 30 quarts or less, and must be of a size that will comfortably fit on your lap.

There should be absolutely no glass of any kind contained within any cooler.

New for 2010, BTI Whitewater will have a selection of sandwiches and drinks available at our Harpers Ferry location to keep you fueled up for your river adventure.

There is also soft serve ice cream available to cool you down when the float is through!

All weekend raft trips will now also include your choice of either soft serve ice cream or a tasting with a local Virginia vineyard.

Whether you are coming in from an exciting whitewater adventure and need to refuel, or you need snacks for a lazy float, BTI will have what you need this season.

All rafters must be at least 5 years and 50 lbs.  or more.

Just a reminder to all customers, if you are planning on bringing a cooler with you to BTI Whitewater it should be no larger than 30 quarts.  This an average medium size cooler.

Also, glass bottles are stricly prohibited on the water. There is a possibility of up to a $500 dollar fine from the Department of Natural Resources, which patrols the water regularly. Please DO NOT BRING GLASS, OF ANY KIND, ON THE WATER!!!

This year BTI Whitewater is offering a few new perks along with our already exciting whitewater rafting trip.

All rafting trips will now include a private take-out and a Polaris ride back to the bus. Rather than huffin’ it up the steep hill at the public take-out, only to emerge in a congested parking lot where other outfitters are picking-up and dropping-off, BTI has a private space for our customers only, and a fun UTV ride to end your whitewater trip.

Also, new for this year, for all weekend rafting trips, you can cool off after your rafting adventure with some soft serve ice cream, or relax with a glass of wine. Weekend rafting trips will now include your choice of either a wine tasting, or a soft serve ice cream for each member of your group when you return to BTI. There will also be live music to enjoy with your wine or ice cream on our newly remodeled patio.

You must keep your wrist band on and present it to BTI staff to receive either a soft serve ice cream or wine tasting.
